The Board - Silverwood Mennonite Church

The Board

Silverwood approved a new congregational structure in November 2006, which establishes the Board as the governance of the congregation. We are in the process of transitioning to this new structure.

The composition of the Board will be:
Congregational Chairperson
Congregational Representatives (1 per 100 members/fraction thereof)
Congregational Vice-Chairperson
Administration Commission Representative (non-voting)
Pastoral Team Leader
Pastoral Team Representative (non-voting)

The Congregational Representatives have been selected for the Board under the new structure. They are John Preheim, Kent Yoder, and Ruth Miller. On March 4, 2007 the congregation affirmed the selection of Rollin Handrich for Board Chairperson and Leah Miller for Board Vice-Chairperson.
